I completed a BSc and BPhEd(Hons) here at Otago, before moving to the University of Oxford in the UK for my PhD studies. After Oxford I spent 2.5 years working in Zurich, Switzerland, and in late 2020 my husband and I moved back to Dunedin. I am now a Rutherford Discovery Research Fellow and a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at the University of Otago. I really enjoying teaching at a tertiary level, and my research focuses on mental health and its relationship to how we perceive our body. I am a keen baker and I love keeping fit and active, particularly walking in our beautiful New Zealand landscapes!
