After completing a BSc at Otago in 2018, I was inspired to pursue an Honours degree at Auckland University where I became interested in the crossover between science and communication. This led to my PhD and return to the University of Otago. Currently, my research explores how social media influences tourists’ interactions with wildlife, and what we can learn from social media to create more engaging media content. 

I enjoy playing music, painting, cooking, and exploring the wonderful walking trails around Dunedin.
